 “Bad Blood” Holm VS Hernandez Press Conference Fresquez Productions Inc. in association with the Isleta Casino & Resort will host a press conference tommorow Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Isleta Casino & Resort’s Hotel Ballroom A. All ten boxers participating on the card will be in attendance and available for one on one interviews following the press conference. The card features Albuquerque’s Holly Holm who will be defending her WIBA Welterweight title at a catch weight of 140 lbs against Bronx, NY’s Mellisa Hernandez who according to boxrec.com computerized ranking system is the #1 pound for pound female boxer in the world. Holm was the reigning pound for pound queen before Hernandez defeated Ambar Farjardo by 5th round technical knockout. The co main event features a rematch for the Women’s NABF title between Albuquerque native Jodi Esquibel and Los Angeles based pugilst Suzzannah Warner in an 8 round minimum weight title fight. Duke city knockout artist David Proa will be pitted against Glendale, Arizona’s Robert Guillen in a 6 round Junior Bantamweight bout. Undefeated Albuquerque Lightheavyweight Michael Brookes faces fellow Albuquerquean Christian Bruffy-Holmes who makes his professional debut. Amatuer standout Amanda Crespin of Las Vegas, NM faces Jessica Sanchez of Albuquerque in a 4 round featherweight bout.
