NABF super lightweight champion Ali Chebah, now living and training in Montreal, made the second successful defense of his belt with a 10th round stoppage over Javier Prieto, the reigning FECARBOX welterweight champion.

Reports are that Prieto was decked in the 6th or 7th round but came back to attack and rough up the defending champ in the 9th. Chebah sent Prieto to the canvas twice in the tenth round and was landing more unreturned punches, largely to the challenger's body,  when referee Daniel Van de Wiele stopped the match.
