NABF Title Match Results

June 6, 2009 - Two NABF title bouts were staged by promoter Pepe Gomez as part of a gala fight card on the closing night of this year's NABF convention.  The fights were held at the Xcaret nature park about an hour's drive outside Cancun.

NABF welterweight champ Saul "Canelo" Alvarez remained undefeated with a 9th round TKO over his challenger Jefferson Goncalo.

Our flyweight champion, local boxer Wilbert Uicab, retained his belt with a 10 round decision over B. J. Dolorosa.

June 13, 2009 - Veteran boxer Gerson "Baby" Guerrero is the new NABF super flyweight champion as he won by TKO in the 10th round over Enrique Quevedo in a feature bout promoted by Nacho Huizar (KO Entertainment) at the Banamex Center in Mexico City.
