Changes in top ten ratings positions, by division North American Boxing Federation For November 2008 Ratings
HW: 5 Barrett drops due to stoppage loss New at 5 is Ray Austin, winner over Andrew Golota Up from 11 to 10 is Chazz Witherspoon as the result of a win.
CR: 2 Banks is out as he is challenging for WBO world title New entry at 10 is undefeated Shawn Hawk.
LH: Muriqui drops from 2 to 5 and Santiago from 9 to 11 for inactivity.
SM: Entering at 7 is Allan Green, no longer under suspension, and back with a win. Fernando Zuniga leaves the top ten for inactivity.
MW: Lopez moves from 3 up to 2 as the result of several consecutive wins. Prior 4 Lorenzo and 5 St. Juste swap places due to inactivity on the part of Lorenzo and a win by St. Juste. Entering at 9 is veteran Bronco McKart.
SW: Ronald Hearns moves up from 7 to 6 for a win. New entrant at 8 is James Moore, formerly rated at middleweight, now competing at this classification.
WW: 2 Rodriguez out, scheduled to compete for a version of world title. Salita, DeLaRosa, Jones & Alvarez all move up due to wins since the last ratings. F. Hernandez drops to 10 for inactivity.
SL: Previous 1 Peterson is new interim champion in this division. Arnaoutis moves up to 7 from 9 due to a win.
LW: No changes
SF: 3 Meza-Clay out due to competing for another organization’s final eliminator at featherweight for world title Rios down from 8 to 10 drew with boxer rated below him.
FW: 1 Solis out - boxing Meza-Clay for another organization’s final eliminator. (See prior division). 8 Mtagwa moves to super bantamweight as per his camp’s request. 10 Cruz out as he won IBF world title.
SB: Escalante up to 5 from 6 as result of win. Mtagwa at 7 in this division from featherweight, defeated boxer rated in this spot in the previous ratings list. Villa and Oliver drop due to losses.
BW: Former 5 Valdez drops 2 positions due to loss in world title match.
SFL: Raul Martinez is new champion in this division 6 Proa drops to 9 due to loss to Martinez for the title.
FLY: Uicab (former 6) and Marquez (former 7) each move up one position due to wins since last month’s ratings. 9 Aguirre drops out of the top 10 due to loss.
LFL: Pool, prior 4, up to 3 defeated rated flyweight Aguirre. Cupul, former flyweight champion, comes in to this division at 4 after relinquishing his title at the heavier weight. Ortiz up from 7 to 12 as the result of a win.
ST: No changes.
