Changes in top ten ratings positions by division for NABF ratings of August 2008.HW: Witherspoon, Fields, Butler all drop due to losses. Chambers and Barnett are now in top ten due to wins. Other changes result from these moves. CR: Calloway drops due to draw with unrated opponent, Max Alexander who is now at 10. Jirov leaves ratings due to inactivity. Fields drops after loss to Nwodo who is now rated 9. Other changes result from these moves. LH: Cloud leaves after becoming challenger for another organization's world title. Paschall drops to super middleweight. Other changes result from these moves. SM: Stevenson up one place after successful defense of Americas title. Other changes result from this move. MW: Lorenzo drops to 4 as result of a loss. Greene drops to super welter division, Marquez leaves our regional ratings to challenge for IBF world title. Other changes result from these moves. SW: Bunema and Greene in to 4 and 5 spots after impressive wins. Lattimore up to 9 following stoppage win over rated opponent. Wolak drops following loss but will be reassessed for next month's ratings list. Other changes result from these moves. WW: Jose Soto-Karass is new champion in this division. New at 1 is Luis Collazo who occupies same position in our affiliated WBC ratings. Miguel Rodriguez drops to 3 following loss for WBC championship. 7 Diaz leaves ratings for medical reasons. New at 8 is Freddy Hernandez [record of 23-1] of Mexico City. Other changes are the result of these moves. LW: New interim champion is Anthony Peterson, former #1. Raheem drops due to loss. Teron up from 7 to 3 resulting from win. Other moves are the result of these changes. SF: New #1 is Urbano Antillon. Former 1 Trejo drops to 7 following loss. Ramon Martinez drops from top ten due to Antillon coming in at the top of this division. FW: New champion is Juan Ruiz. Burgos up from 5 to 8 as result of win, Mtagwa from 8 to 5. SB: Jhonny Gonzalez up to 3 due to impressive win. Prior 3 Morel drops to a lower weight division. 7 Roman out for medical reasons. Benjamin Flores new at 9 due to win. Other moves are the result of these changes. BW: New champion is Yonnhy Perez. Jonas Hernandez is no longer rated - deceased. Beranza drops in ratings due to loss. Other moves are the result of these changes. SFL: 3 Whitfield is out of ratings is mandatory challenger for a recognized world championship. Replaced by Eric Morel who had been rated at this same position in a higher weight division. FLY: 6 Tamara moved to light fly division. Hernan Marquez up in ratings due to several recent wins. Other moves result from these changes. LFL: Tamara and Seda are now rated 1 and 2 due to impressive wins since the last ratings list was released. Other moves result from these changes.
