The NABF sends sympathies to promoter Dan Goossen and trainer Joe Goossen (and the entire Goossen clan - ed.) on the passing of their mother Ann Goossen at age 86. Mrs. Goossen was mother to ten children (hence the name of the old Ten Goose Boxing company started by Dan back in the early 1980s). There were 8 sons and 2 daughters (Gordon, Ellorie, Pat, Greg, Dan, Mike, Larry, Joe, Tom and Sandra) in the Goossen clan. Mrs. Goossen was also grandmother to 34 children and great grandmother to 19.

A service was held at 5:30PM Monday at St. Francis De Sales Church in Sherman Oaks. Immediately after, the family hosted a dinner at Sisley restaurant (15300 Ventura Blvd.) below Goossen Tutor headquarters.   Thursday, September 13 2007
