Our condolences go to the family of well respected professional boxing judge Carol Castellano who passed away last Thursday, 3/29/07. Mrs. Castellano has been a licensed professional judge since 1975 in New York and in Nevada since 1993.
Dear NABF Family Members:
It is with great sorrow that we observe the passing of our friend and world class boxing judge, Carol Castellano. Carol and Tony have always been loyal NABF and WBC members and have been to every NABF Convention that I can remember.
Howard Reed has been notifying everyone of this sad event. Below are copies of his emails. He expresses it better than I could ever do it.

I received a phone call this morning from Tony Castellano with the information that Carol had passed on sometime last night. As you may not have known she has been hospitalized for some time with serious medical problems. She battled with a spirit and
determination for the world champion person that she was. At this time there are no plans for any services in the Las Vegas Area.
Carol was a good friend to many people and to the sport of
boxing. Her passing will leave a void in many lives and the sport. She was always considered in the upper echelons of boxing officials in the world. She was a pioneer in the sport but more importantly a great and dear friend. She will be missed by anyone
that had the good fortune to become her friend.
