06 August, Gimanisio Sport City, Cancun, Q. R. Mexico [Pepe Gomez, promoter] Wilberth "Hurrican" Uicab made the 6th defense of his NABF flyweight belt a successful one when he defeated veteran William de Sousa who couldn't answer the bell for round 3 after receiving quite a pounding from Uicab in the first two stanzas. We wish Wilberth, our 2009-10 "Fighter of the Year" much success in his next fight - 17 September in Cancun - when he goes after the WBC Silver Belt against Edrin Dapudong.
