On Friday September 11th at the Marbet Plus Hall in Cd. Neza, Mexico NABF Flyweight champion Wilbert "Hurican" Uicab raised his record to 26-5-1 with a successful title defense against Alejandro Hernandez.

Hernandez was the larger boxer but from reports received Uicab made a very smart fight usually beating Hernandez to the punch resulting in a unanimous decision for Uicab.  This was the 3rd successful defense of his belt for Uicab, a resident of Cancun.
