We need to remember that this is an election year, and each state or province needs to appoint a voting delegate for the elections that will be held in Cancun.  All the officer positions of our federation are up for election this year.

We have had another strong year in championship fights for the NABF.  Our Vice President, Joe Dwyer, has done an outstanding job in putting together these bouts.

We have a new 147# champion who won the title in Montreal on April 18^th-Ali Chebah.  He has a record of  30-1 with 23 KO's.  His only loss came from a controversial stoppage in Mexico City.  I think he has the potential to be an outstanding fighter and intends to defend his NABF title in France.  He was born in Algiers but is currently living and fighting out of Montreal, Canada.
