Teamwork-

The key to the NABF’s success for the past four (4) years has been Teamwork! VP Mexico, Mauricio Sulaiman continues to generate activity in Mexico, as VP Canada, Ed Pearson develops up-coming contenders in the Northern tier, as well as increased activity in the WBC Women’s Division. Our Ratings are without question among the finest, through the efforts of Claude Jackson, Chairman with assist from Ed Pearson, and Tom Ashy. Past President, Rex Walker holds down the fort at NABF Headquarters, ably assisted by Executive Secretary. Chris Stilson, and Membership Chairman, Steve Wolochow. Jill Diamond is untiring in her efforts in both NABF Female titles as well as chairing WBC Cares.

2010 Convention

We continue to pursue a suitable location for our up coming convention, with Providence, R. I and New Orleans, LA in contention. While a trip to the Northeast would be a welcome change, New Orleans offers much of interest as a Convention town. We will keep you updated on developments.

Activity

We have three (3) new NABF Champion’s, Lightweight, Jason Litzau, Super Feather, Alejandro Sanabria, and Bantam, Mario Macias. While we continue to deal with a down turn in the economy, as well as a lack of TV dates we have held nine (9) NABF title bouts since our last Convention. Much work remains but we are up to the task.
